Dr Evangeline “Mariegel” Tankiang Manotok

Dr Evangeline Tankiang Manotok currently serves as President of the Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA), Deputy President of the ASEAN Tourism Association (ASEANTA), Treasurer of the Federation of ASEAN Travel Associations (FATA), and Director of the United Federation of Travel Agents’ Associations (UFTAA). She continues the legacy of her father, Dr Francisco V. Tankiang, the founding President of PTAA and the first Filipino President of ASEANTA, leading Philippine and ASEAN tourism into a new era.

A Certified Public Accountant and Doctor of Public Administration, Dr Manotok also has over 15 years of experience in governance as Barangay Chairwoman of Forbes Park, Makati City, where she championed sustainability, disaster preparedness, and community welfare.

She is a regular guest on national television and radio, a sought-after speaker in regional forums, and a trusted voice in tourism, governance, and post-pandemic recovery. Guided by her vision of a globally competitive Philippines, she continues to champion programs that uplift communities, protect cultural heritage, and advance sustainable tourism.
