Rizki Handayani

Rizki Handayani is the Deputy Minister for Tourism Product and Events, Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy in Indonesia. With more than 30 years of experience in the industry, she plays an important role in the growth and development of the tourism industry in Indonesia.

Since launching her career in the Ministry in 1994, Rizki has held several key positions in the Ministry of Tourism, as the Deputy Director of Multilateral Cooperation (2007 -2012), Director of Promotion for Convention, Incentive, Event and Special Interest (2012 -2015), Director of Promotion for South -East Asia (2015 -2018), Deputy Minister for Industry and Institutional Relations (March -December 2018), Deputy Minister for Marketing I (2018 -2019), and Deputy Minister for Tourism Product and Events (2019 -present).

She holds a Master’s degree in Tourism Management from Victoria University (Australia, 1998) and a Bachelor’s degree in regionaland city planning from Bandung Institute of Technology (Indonesia, 1990).
